WestWheels Car Club was recently launched with two cars – a Ford C-Max and Ford Fusion – located on Mallaig pier. The steering group – made up of residents of all the Small Isles, Knoydart and mainland communities, secured funding from Carplus to employ a part-time development worker on a short-term contract who is responsible for operating an extended trial prior to making a more long term commitment to prices, vehicle locations and types.
