The Car Club Forum 16 focussed on four key issues.
- Firstly, we looked at alternative models of car sharing with a presentation from WhipCar.
- Secondly, we focussed on Car Club parking permit charges, highlighted recently by a survey of London Boroughs undertaken by Carplus, and the concerns expressed by operators about escalating charges.
- Thirdly, we looked at the work undertaken by Carplus on documenting the benefits of Car Clubs in reducing emissions and improving air quality.
- Finally, we received an update from TfL on budgets for 2012/13.
