CAR CLUB LOGO AND MARKETING CAMPAIGN

Generic logo and PR campaign designed to promote car clubs

 

 

A new generic logo and website for car clubs has been commissioned by Carplus and the London Borough of Lambeth with funding by Transport for London. The logo (designed by London-based agency Provokateur) is a marketing tool for the public sector to use to raise awareness of car clubs wherever non operator specific branding is required. A range of marketing materials have also been created for London Boroughs to use, based upon the new branding which are available for all local authorities to use. 

 

 

 

The logo can also be used on road signs adjacent to car club parking bays, the new design has been approved for this purpose by the Department for Transport in London and beyond. The new parking sign which should help to reduce illegal parking and raise awareness of the concept, was unveiled at the Carplus Parking Seminar in January 2008. Guidance from the DfT on the use of the logo is attached below. It outlines how approval is required for each new sign erected.
